Up till now, we hadn’t really found a place in Australia where we really thought “we could live here”. However, with Darwin, it was love at first sight. At least in the dry season, this is an awesome place to live. The weather is amazing, there’s plenty to do, you have the AWESOME food at the markets, and the multicultural atmosphere is great. To top it off, we found a nice place to live close to town, with beautiful sunsets and fishing opportunities, we both had a great job, and our housemates were unbelievably “de max”!
However, now that Tom’s dad has arrived for his trip in Australia, and the dry season is coming to an end, it’s time for us to move on.
Darwin, we’ll miss you!
