Often you see these signs “watch out for snakes”. So you are aware of them and hope to see one of these beautiful creatures. Most of the times, you won’t see one. So I couldn’t believe my eyes when we were having lunch in Edith Falls at our “lunch platform”. All of a sudden this amazing 1.5 meter long beauty appeared from under our platform. Later we were told that this is a black whip snake, and a bite from one of these would mean you’d have a really bad day…
However, like all snakes, she was in a hurry to get away from us as quickly as possible. Luckily we were able to get this amazing glimpse of her!
