We were sitting in our tent, when we saw a beautiful stumpy tailed lizard looking for a cool spot to chill around noon. Apparently, our tent is one of the best spots… Half an hour after we gently chased it away, we heard a scratching sound at the back of our tent. Not just one, but two lizards crawled under it. We just left them taking their nap! Or whatever they were planning to do. We gave them some privacy! Even with the patching-up we had to do, it still looks like a 5-star accommodation to lizards!
Here a Stumpy Tailed Lizard fact: the tail looks like a head to distract predators. When the lizard feels threatened, it flattens its belly and rises its tail. AWESOME, right?!
