The heaviest rainfall since 1992 is hardly a good time to go camping, even for Belgians, who are used to bad weather. It didn’t seem like a smart idea to us to keep camping beside a river that might flood at any time, so we packed up our gear and headed to a dryer part of the state, and booked a room for the weekend.
