Try to stay positive! So I can’t work as a veterinarian nurse. No prob! We made a complete new “Hospitality”-based CV. As you guys in Belgium know, I have been working in bars, restaurants, etc. since I was 15 years old. I.e., I have lots of experience! “I should get a job within the week”, I thought. Nope again! Apparently, autumn is not the time to apply. Certainly not in Perth, where there is some kind of recession going on, since the mines aren’t doing so well. So for the last 3 weeks, I am checking every website, visiting every bar and going to all the wineries. Job hunting is hard, but for Tom it is even harder. He supports me so much, that he sacrifices himself and accompanies me to every bar and every winery, while I introduce myself! Life is hard tasting wines over and over again! My life feels like Milow’s song “No No No”! Never heard “No” so many times in my life. The only thing you can do is try again every day, and maybe tomorrow one of the eighty CV’s I mailed will be answered…
